Consent Awareness Week is an annual initiative led by the Sexual Violence Prevention Initiative (SVPI) under Saint Mary’s Sexual Violence Support Centre. The initiative centres on building a campus culture grounded in consent, respect, safety and open communication.
Held Oct. 1–8, Consent Awareness Week provides opportunities for the Saint Mary’s community to learn more about consent, boundaries and healthy relationships, and to consider how we can all contribute to a culture where consent and respect are part of everyday interactions.
